The JBL VTX G28 is a full-size, high-output dual 18-inch professional subwoofer engineered for large-scale touring, live events and professional sound reinforcement applications requiring powerful and extended low-frequency performance.

Built around two JBL 2269H 18-inch Differential Drive® transducers, the VTX G28 delivers exceptional bass output and extends low-frequency performance down to 22 Hz, providing the deep impact required for concerts, festivals, arenas and other demanding professional audio applications.

Dual 18-Inch Differential Drive Woofers

The VTX G28 incorporates two JBL 2269H 18-inch neodymium Differential Drive® woofers.

Each transducer features JBL's advanced dual voice-coil and dual-magnet architecture together with Direct Cooled™ technology. The design provides extremely high excursion capability while supporting the high output levels required for professional touring systems.

Low-Frequency Extension Down to 22 Hz

The large enclosure and optimized port tuning allow the VTX G28 to reproduce exceptionally deep bass, with frequency extension reaching 22 Hz.

This makes the G28 suitable for applications where substantial low-frequency impact is required, including live concerts, electronic music events, festivals, arenas and large entertainment venues.

Cardioid Array Capability

The JBL VTX G28 can be deployed in omnidirectional or cardioid configurations.

Cardioid deployment helps reduce unwanted low-frequency energy behind the subwoofer array while directing more acoustic energy toward the audience area.

A front-facing NL4 connector also helps simplify ground-stacked reverse-cardioid configurations.

High Acoustic Output

The VTX G28 is engineered for extremely high sound pressure levels, delivering up to 140 dB maximum SPL with the specified VTX G28 processing preset.

Crown I-Tech HD Integration

The VTX G28 is designed for use with Crown Audio I-Tech HD amplification and JBL system processing.
