IDEAL 5009-3 CC P-3 Industrial High-Capacity Shredder
The IDEAL 5009-3 CC is an exceptionally powerful industrial document shredder developed for centralised destruction facilities with very high volumes of confidential paper. Made in Germany, it is suitable for government departments, banks, universities, hospitals, corporate archives, records-management facilities and professional document-destruction operations across the UAE.
The shredder processes documents into 6 × 50mm particles, meeting DIN 66399 security levels P-3 and T-3. It can accept approximately 250–350 sheets of 80gsm A4 paper at a time, making it considerably faster than conventional office shredders.
Powered Conveyor-Belt Feeding
A large feeding table and powered conveyor belt allow operators to load bulk documents efficiently. The 500mm-wide feed opening accommodates large paper formats and complete lever-arch files, including their metal mechanisms, reducing the need for manual document preparation.
2-MATIC Variable-Speed Technology
The intelligent 2-MATIC system automatically adjusts the shredding speed according to the amount of material being processed. The machine operates at up to 0.21m/s for smaller quantities and automatically switches to a high-torque 0.12m/s mode for heavier loads.
Built for Continuous Industrial Operation
Two powerful 4.5kW three-phase motors provide a combined motor capacity of 9kW. Hardened special-steel cutting shafts deliver dependable performance during intensive use, while thermal motor protection helps protect the machine against overload.
Centralised Lubrication System
The standard central lubrication system allows the operator to lubricate the cutting mechanism conveniently. Correct lubrication maintains cutting performance, reduces wear and supports reliable long-term operation.
Large 300-Litre Collection Trolley
Shredded material is collected in a mobile 300-litre trolley located behind an electronically secured rear door. The machine stops automatically when the collection bag is full or when the access door is opened.
Industrial Safety Features
The ergonomic control panel provides forward, stop and reverse controls with clear operating-status indicators. Additional protection includes a safety lock and key, emergency cut-off switch, electronic overfeeding control, automatic reverse and refeeding, thermal motor protection and electronically monitored access doors.
UAE Electrical and Installation Requirements
This model requires a 400V / 50Hz three-phase electrical supply. Professional delivery, offloading, positioning, electrical connection and commissioning are required. Site access, doorway clearances, floor loading and power availability should be verified before ordering.
